Baja Translations was created out of the necessity to provide professional translation services specifically in the legal industry. This is specially true for the Los Cabos region where our practice is based. It is a common occurence to have agreements drafted in multiple languages (most particularly english) as well as the participation of foreign entities in the Los Cabos Real Estate Industry. 

It is our goal to provide professional services to our clients, using our legal expertise to provide the most complete and accurate translation possible, thereby avoiding our clients any misunderstandings in their agreements with mexican or foreign parties.

Sergio  was born in La Paz, B.C.S. He comes from a  family with deep roots in the State of Baja California Sur, particularly Los Cabos. 

From a young age he developed an interest in languages, that is why in addition to obtaining his Law Degree from the  University of Baja California Sur, Sergio ventured into the translation industry by becoming a translator and interpreter. 

With his legal background, he firsthand witnessed the need of  specialized  translation services in the legal industry, where every word matters and the context highly dictates the terms of an agreement.

Qualifications:

• Law Degree (Class of 2016) Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur. La Paz, B.C.S.
• Certified Course  in Contract Law (2016) HarvardX.
• Master of Laws (Class of 2022) California Western School of Law. San Diego, CA.
• Currently certified as an expert Translator and Interpreter authorized by the Supreme Court of the State of Baja California Sur since 2018.
